Phoenix Cloud

This is my first edition of Sky Watch Friday. I think this one are rarely to happened. A giant bird shaped cloud. Captured near my house, looks like a phoenix bird to me maybe. I didn't do anything with the picture except a brightness/contras adjustment.

Sometimes I wonder, is there any science about a cloud? I mean, about how did they took a shape. A millions of tiny water molecule up in the sky are somewhat gathered as the wind blows. On a Statistically sense, those billions of molecules are scattered in a mighty wide area like the sky, so they should be everywhere in a random manner. The chance for it gathered in a particular place and forming any shape we could be familiar, would be even smaller, and the number are might be wouldn't make any sense. Maybe you have found it too in a different shape once in a while, but this time, a bird shape, Is this a coincident ? or there is a "hands of Artist" somewhere up in the sky creating a cloudy artwork. :)

Take a look for other great sky picture here at the Sky Watch Friday.

How true! Your cloud looks like a phoenix bird! Welcome to sky watch Friday. My post is the next one after yours so I consider us to be "neighbors." My tradition is to always visit neighbors first every week!

Well, it's nothing to do with fate or the gods, but an accident of nature...although it is quite unique and beautiful!

Very nice skywatch entry!

A wonderful "skywatch" Friday photo! We both have skywatch photos posted today but they are very different - yours is green, warm and lust while my photo is snowy, white and cold. Greetings from Eagan > population 63,557.
Enjoy your weekend!

WOW! What a beautiful cloud. I can see all kinds of things in it...It is a privilege to see such a cloud and then to get a picture--well, you are blessed. Amazing.

I wanted to add here that I see so many amazing things in the clouds--faces, squares, circles, triangles--angels, dragons, animals--some so exquisitely made I feel as though God put them there for me to photograph.

I've always wanted to draw a Sunset and clouds like Him--instead I get to draw WITH Him. (Grin)
